This was the latest in a string of smash-hit musicals for which theatre equipment supplier, Gearhouse Splitbeam supplied the Lighting rig. The company offers niche theatre-specific equipment on a long-term rental basis and is fast becoming the "go-to" option for international tours and local shows alike.
The international award winning Broadway musical, Dreamgirls, produced by Hazel Feldman of Showtime Management recently opened at the Teatro at Montecasino, Johannesburg. We asked Alistair Kilbee, Managing Director and workhorse from Gearhouse Splitbeam for comment on his involvement in this active, ever rotating and vibrant set.
